the NAIA3 - fiasco

i have heard about this NAIA3-fiasco for a good many years now. this airport facility, said to be a "state-of-the-art"-undertaking just sits in its prime location and not being used since it was completed. why? rumours has it that this was because the philippine government could not pay its constructors in full for their contracts and services. in doing so, any project turn-over is almost impossible - adding to that, the people who worked hard on completing this project were, up to this date, not paid at all. where did all the money allocated for NAIA3's construction and completion went? possibly to the politicians and other government bigwigs involved in the project? well, you guess is just as good as mine ...

i'd say that it will be difficult for the government to open NAIA3 ... they simply don't have the money! the money intended for that project was pocketed and already wasted by greedy government entities involved in the project --- sad, sad, sad. this airport facility will never see light - it will rot into oblivion.
